A Counterfeit kit. (Country Breakfast)

This month at Counterfeit Kits these are the 2 kits they've offered.
May 2013 After the Storm Kit
and this one
May 2013 Destination Unknown Kit
Of course they have add-ons as well.
I see arrows
butterflies
 flags
 tags
plus floral, grid, striped and spots.

Counterfeit Kits are celebrating spring but here in Australia it is winter, cold and gloomy.
I've gone with a warmer palette and called my kit , Country Breakfast

I've chosen elements of both plus focussed on a neutral theme this month. My embellishments bring out some of the colours, especially the yellows. I've also gone pastel instead of bright.

There's spots and stripes, stars, grids, checks and diamond shapes.
There are tags, flowers, butterflies and laces.

Here's the close ups
and here's some extras I've added.
So you can see there's arrows, flags, clouds, owls, and words to do with sleep/camping.
All part of being in the country.
I'm looking forward to using this kit as I normally do bright colours with a lot of blue and green.
This will take me out of my comfort zone.

Lovely interpretation of the kits. I have found that CKC's ability to take you out of your comfort zone can help you delve into new depths of creativity.

Your kit really does remind my of a yummy cooked breakfast in a warm country kitchen heated by a wood stove. Sounds like my grandma's place! Perfect for a cold winter's day.
